Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Gateshead
Pay rate: £95-£115 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in schools across Gateshead.
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help with learning, behaviour, or engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
* Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in learning.
* Support positive behaviour management in the classroom.
* Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements of LSA:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, calm, and supportive approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
