How you'll make a differenceAs Technical Support Officer, you will assist all aspects of the Estate Management team administration, providing a broad range of business and technical duties, as well as working across an allocated number of property cases. What you will be doingWorking in a small, busy team, you will be responsible for providing business and technical support within the council.You will review and answer internal and external property enquiries for the team. It will be your responsibility to manage and update the council’s property asset management system.You will have the opportunity to work on a number of minor property related transactions, such as requests to lift restrictive covenants on former right to buy properties and arranging minor lettings renewals. What we need from youWe require you to hold either an NVQ 3 or 3 GCSE qualifications, or have equivalent experience in office administration.Having experience of working as part of team, you will be able to meet service standards, targets and deadlines. It is essential that you have good organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise, plan, monitor and evaluate work to achieve required deadlines.You must be able to communicate concisely and effectively with officers at all levels and external parties.With effective IT skills, you will have a working knowledge in the use of software packages including in house systems and ideally experience of using mapping systems.
