Overview
We're looking for a proactive, highly organised, and detail-driven Senior Survey Case Handler to join our expanding international operation. In this role, you'll manage overseas survey cases from start to finish, ensuring high-quality technical and service standards across our global network. You'll work closely with the International Department Manager and Global Operations Manager, playing a critical role in safeguarding reporting quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency. How you'll make an impact As a Senior Survey Case Handler, you'll take full ownership of survey and project cases, acting as the primary point of contact between clients, principals, and local surveyors. You'll ensure clear communication and alignment at every stage, while maintaining high standards of reporting quality and service delivery. Your day-to-day will include: Managing survey and project cases from instruction to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and service levels are maintained. Reviewing survey reports to ensure they are complete, technically accurate, consistent, and professionally presented. Preparing and issuing reports, invoices, and supporting documentation using Microsoft Office and internal systems. Maintaining well-organised digital case files and ensuring records are up to date. Liaising with clients, surveyors, and third-party vendors across different regions and time zones. Monitoring deadlines and driving cases forward to ensure timely completion. Supporting the development of the overseas survey network to maintain reporting quality and service standards. Mentoring new team members as the department grows, ensuring consistent application of international case handling and reporting standards. About You Here's what you'll bring to the role: Experience handling marine insurance claims, including appointing and managing local survey agents. A strong understanding of the international transit and logistics chain. Confidence in applying professional judgement when reviewing technical documentation. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously. Clear and professional communication skills, capable of influencing and building credibility with global stakeholders. A detail-focused approach, maintaining accuracy and quality under pressure. Experience working across multiple time zones and international jurisdictions (advantageous).
