Position: Electronic Installations Designer at our Silverstone facility. You will design on- and off-car electrical and electronic system installations and contribute to the team’s shared success.
Closing Date: 20th March 2026
Responsibilities
* Design of electrical installations, including harness routing and packaging of electronic components
* Contribute to the design of electrical harnesses and associated components
* Generate technical documentation to support harness manufacture, car assembly, operation and updates
* Support development of off-car systems, internal test facilities and rigs
* Resolve electronic system faults
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in an engineering subject or equivalent
* Extensive experience in electrical installation design, ideally using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE
* Proficiency with electrical schematic design packages, e.g., Zuken E3 or VeSys Electrical
* Good understanding of electrical components, systems and their integration
* Ability to plan and manage own workloads
* Clear and concise communication
* Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Contribute positively to an open and inclusive culture
