Psychology Graduates – Classroom Support Roles (Hiring Multiple)

Job Title: Psychology Graduate / Support Staff

Location: Liverpool

Job Type: Flexible – Day-to-day, Part-time, Full-time, Temporary

Salary: £101.40 – £106

Role Overview:

Are you a psychology graduate? Are you looking for hands-on experience in schools to kickstart your career in education, mental health, or child development? Milk Education has flexible opportunities that could be perfect for you.

You’ll have the chance to work in:

1. SEND provisions
2. Mainstream schools – primary

Roles include:

3. Day-to-day placements – gain experience and showcase your skills before committing to longer bookings
4. Sickness cover – provide essential support during staff absences (short- or long-term)
5. School vacancies – potential for temp-to-perm positions

What You’ll Gain / Career Development:

6. Hands-on experience working with children and young people
7. Insight into educational and behavioural psychology in practice
8. Opportunities to build experience that complements core modules, such as developmental, social, and cognitive psychology, and mental health
9. Gain relevant experience if you are wishing to continue your professional development into careers such as:
10. Clinical, forensic, or educational psychology
11. Mental health practitioner roles
12. Further education teaching
13. Occupational therapy or psychology roles
14. Skills to enhance your CV for future careers in education, mental health, or child development
15. Flexible work that fits around your schedule if you are still studying

Requirements:

16. A degree in psychology or a related field (2:2 or above)
17. Flexibility and reliability
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
19. Enthusiasm to work with children and young people
20. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Desirable:

21. Accreditation from the British Psychological Society (BPS)
