The RoleWe’re looking for a SAS Viya 4 Architect to lead the design and delivery of cloud-based analytics platforms. You’ll own end-to-end architecture, drive migrations from SAS, and shape modern, scalable solutions across AWS/Azure.
What You’ll Do
1. Define and lead SAS architecture strategy and design
2. Architect and deploy SAS Viya 4 (CAS, Studio, Visual Analytics, Model Studio)
3. Design Kubernetes-based deployment patterns
4. Lead migration and transformation to cloud-native solutions
5. Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automation best practices
6. Engage senior stakeholders and ensureernance standards
What You BringEssential:
7. Strong SAS architecture experience, including Viya 4
8. Deep knowledge of SAS DI, Visual Analytics, Studio/EG
9. Experience with AWS/Azure and Kubernetes
10. Proven delivery of large-scale migration programmes
Desirable:
11. CI/CD and DevOps experience
12. Integration with tools like Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks
13. Experience in regulated/public sector environments
