Derby Homes are an organisation owned by Derby City Council who manage the Housing Register and allocation of its properties, as well as manage and maintain 12,500 homes owned by the Council.
To support this work, we are looking for a passionate and driven individual to provide effective supervision to the Team and support the development of the Homefinder Service and Housing Register for social housing. The work will be wide ranging, and you will work with professionals from across the organisation in a stimulating and fact paced environment.
If you are a 'can-do' person, who is committed to delivering excellent customer service you might well be the person we are looking for. You will need to be a strong communicator, be able to take control of situations with a solution focus, have good attention detail and great leadership skills.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including Senior Managers, Housing colleagues, Partners, and Elected Members you will be the point of contact for the Register Social Landlords who form Derby Homefinder. You will also need the ability to listen and respond to enquiries in a consistent and professional manner.
