The Offshore Construction Supervisor (OCS) oversees all offshore construction projects, including Structural, Piping, HVAC, Hydraulics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Rigging, and Scaffolding. The role emphasizes safety leadership, project management, and coordination with onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure safety standards are communicated and upheld, promoting a safety-first culture.
2. Manage site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-shift briefs.
3. Lead by example in demonstrating PD&MS QHSE principles.
4. Participate in risk assessments and review construction packages.
5. Inspect and release offshore materials, equipment, and work scopes.
6. Coordinate with vendors, manage work permits, and oversee offshore activities.
7. Provide progress reports and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Qualifications:
* Relevant technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ/SVQ Level 3) or 10 years’ experience in a related discipline.
* IOSH Managing Safely certification (in Engineering Construction or Construction).
* Valid offshore certification.
Experience & Skills:
* Strong knowledge of Construction Work Pack Close Out and Certification.
* Minimum 5 years offshore experience in an OCS or higher role.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
