Sales Executive / Account Manager
Location: Bury, BL9 7HY (Onsite), Hours: Monday to Friday (flexible office hours), Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Salary: £25,000 negotiable on experience + Bonus Support in Year 1
On-Target Earnings (OTE):
* Year 1: £35,000+
* Year 2: £45,000+ (with full account retention)
About the Role
We're seeking a confident, competitive, and driven individual to join our fast-paced sales team in the fuel distribution sector. You'll manage and develop customer accounts through telephone-based sales, handling both inbound and outbound contact.
Whether you're an experienced salesperson or new to sales with the right attitude and drive, we offer full training and long-term career development.
Start Date: 8th September 2025
We're interviewing now for a Monday, 8th September start — giving you time to enjoy the summer, whether that means spending time with your children or celebrating abroad.
When you join, you'll follow a structured onboarding and training path:
* A sales induction to get you fully up to speed
* A supportive 'Graduation Bay' to practise live sales
* Team-based and 1-to-1 coaching
* Ongoing training and development as you grow in the role
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B fuel accounts
* Make a minimum of 55 outbound calls per day
* Create and deliver competitive fuel quotes to win business
* Process orders and deliveries using our internal CRM system
* Provide after-sales support and manage long-term client relationships
* Meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets
* Build rapport with clients and identify upselling opportunities
What We're Looking For
* Sales experience (retail, recruitment, call centre, hospitality, etc.)
* Confidence in phone-based communication
* Experience working to KPIs or performance targets
* Competitive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
* Strong computer skills (CRM experience is a plus)
