School Cleaner – Staffordshire – Temporary Contract
Location: Staffordshire (ST15 area)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 15 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 15:00 – 18:00
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Duration: February 2026 – April 2026
A facilities services provider is recruiting for a Cleaner to support cleaning services within a school environment in Staffordshire. This role is ideal for someone reliable, thorough and able to maintain high hygiene standards within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
* Cleaning staff facilities and washrooms
* Hoovering, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
* Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures
* Ensuring cleaning standards meet site requirements
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and reliability
* Understanding of hygiene and safety standards
* Right to work in the UK
