Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Civil Engineering team, supporting the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework contract. Your expertise will help produce highways designs, drawings, reports, and documentation that meet our clients' needs within the specified timelines and budgets.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Preparing preliminary and detailed designs in line with approved procedures for local and national authorities.
* Delivering technical and feasibility studies that meet client specifications.
* Assessing potential risks, materials, and costs while ensuring compliance with Kier's and client guidelines.
* Contributing to technical excellence and innovation, providing creative solutions to engineering challenges.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients and authorities, promoting health & safety in the workplace.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Are a member of a professional body, with IEng / CEng status or working towards it.
* Have a strong working knowledge of civil engineering design software, such as AutoCAD.
