Job Description
A rare opportunity has become available to join one of the UK’s most renowned and prestigious restaurants, home to a highly awarded kitchen. Based just outside Leeds, this role is ideal for an ambitious Chef de Partie looking to refine their craft in a world-class environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare menus in collaboration with the senior kitchen team
* Ensure adequate supplies at your section at all times
* Prepare and maintain frequently used ingredients
* Follow the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, while contributing creative input on dishes and presentation
* Optimise cooking processes with a strong focus on speed, precision and quality
* Enforce strict food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
* Help maintain a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen environment
Requirements & Skills
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie
* Michelin experience preferred but not essential
* A proven track record at multi-rosette level is required
* Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
* Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
* Excellent understanding of best kitchen and cooking practices
Your standard working week will be Wednesday to Sunday, with a mix of shifts. Please note that working days may vary when events are scheduled.
