CNC Turning Setter/Operator We are currently recruiting a skilled CNC Turning Setter/Operator for our high-precision manufacturing client based in Chelmsford. In this role, you will manufacture components according to production plans while prioritizing customer promise dates. You must ensure all parts meet exact drawing specifications and the highest quality standards. This position suits a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in “first-off” accuracy. Key Responsibilities * Set, Program & Operate: You will set up, program, and operate CNC turning machines. This includes working with Nakamura and Citizen sliding head lathes for various batch sizes. * Technical Execution: Change and set tools, adjust offsets, and fine-tune programs. These actions ensure optimal machine performance throughout the production run. * Quality Assurance: Inspect first-off and in-process parts using precision measuring tools. This process guarantees accuracy against technical drawings and specific tolerances. * Workflow Management: Follow route cards strictly and complete all quality documentation.
