We are working with a UK-based organization that manages community lettings for educational institutions. The organization aims to help educational institutions generate additional income by professionally managing the out-of-hours use of their facilities. Their mission is to enrich the quality of education in communities by generating flexible and sustainable income for partner schools.
They are seeking a dynamic and driven Commercial Director to lead an ambitious growth strategy.
Tasks include:
Driving company-wide revenue strategy.
Defining commercial plans to achieve targets.
Organizing and managing the commercial team.
Taking full P&L ownership.
Providing outstanding line management.
Driving a commercial culture.
Advising the leadership team on the competitive environment.
Exemplifying company values.
Responsibility for the Marketing, Account Management, Customer Service, and Client Acquisition teams.
Potential restructuring of the team as seen fit.
Required skills include:
Proven personal sales track record.
5+ years experience in a similar position
Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.
Impressive record leading commercial teams.
Experience developing and delivering innovative commercial strategies.
Deep understanding of the education and customer markets served.
Strong sales, strategic planning, and motivational management skills.
Exceptional organizational and delivery skills.
Adaptability.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout England.
