Overview
The Student Support Officer performs a key role in facilitating a highly supportive and caring environment for OnCampus students to help them succeed, reach their potential, and develop emotionally and socially. The role supports an excellent student experience and contributes to the student engagement agenda at OnCampus London Centres.

Location and tenure
The role is full-time and permanent, based in London.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate induction and lead on enrolment of students at the start of term.
* Provide a focused and high level of customer service.
* Engage existing students in the OnCampus experience through social and cultural activities and communicate opportunities to students ongoing.
* Support the OnCampus Finance Team in the management of student finances in line with OnCampus processes.
* Promote and encourage social, cultural, sports activities and events to students, including via social media; liaise with university departments as required.
* Manage accommodation requests (if required) in cooperation with local university teams and providers.
* Act as a first point of contact for welfare concerns and provide welfare support, guidance, and information; liaise with colleagues, partners and external organisations as needed.
* Update case notes and maintain records in the student management system.
* Manage visa-related documentation and procedures in cooperation with relevant teams to adhere to policies and procedures.
* Manage the centre’s reporting system for compliance matters and maintain data for students in line with regulatory requirements.
Background, experience and skills
Education
* HND or equivalent experiential learning
* UKCISA or other visa rules training (desirable)
Experience
* Experience in a customer-focussed environment
* Experience in providing customer support
* Experience working with data
* Experience with International students (desirable)
* Experience in admissions or visa advisory capacity (desirable)
Skills
* IT literate
* Ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to keep accurate records and track information
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal, written and electronic
