Job’s Close is a small, not for profit, charity based in the centre of Knowle.
It provides residential care for 34 people who have lived in the area and now need some support in their later years.
We have been established for 40 years, are financially sound and have a strong local reputation for providing excellent care in a modern setting.
After seven years in the role, our current Chair is looking to step down and so we are looking to recruit a Chair (Designate) to lead us into the next stage of our development.
This is an interesting and fulfilling role if you are looking to make a difference to the lives, of both our residents and our staff.
Your background and experience are not important (the current Board of Trustees, between them, have a breadth of knowledge to cover most situations), so long as you have the transferable skills to lead the charity.
