Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will be a vital part of the classroom, focusing on:
* Targeted Support: Delivering bespoke assistance to pupils individually or in small clusters.
* Collaborative Planning: Partnering with teaching staff to execute tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Classroom Culture: Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment through effective behaviour management.
* Academic Tracking: Assisting with the creation of learning resources and monitoring student development.
* Mentorship: Serving as a positive role model, guiding students as they reach their personal and academic milestones.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
* Experience: A minimum of six months working in a similar capacity within a UK educational setting.
* Temperament: A calm, kind, and energetic nature suited to supporting young people with diverse needs.
* Communication: The ability to liaise professionally and warmly with colleagues, students, and families.
* Reliability: Top-tier organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new check.
