About the Role
The SENDSTART Locality Managers are responsible for the coordination, management, delivery, and effectiveness of a locality team. You will oversee the council's statutory duties under part 3 of the Children & Families Act 2014, including developing high-quality and timely Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
About the Candidate
The successful candidates will have detailed knowledge of part 3 of the Children & Families Act 2014, the SEND Code of Practice 2015, subordinate legislation, and the SENDIST Tribunal procedure. They will understand SEND issues affecting parents, children, young people, and educational settings, with experience in writing person-centred plans and preparing reports based on these issues.
