Gibraltar Nursing Home in Monmouth is a home with a strong sense of community. The home has four floors and supports 96 residents (who we fondly call family members), and includes a close care village of 36 houses and apartments for people wanting independent living. The home is currently looking for a part time Receptionist to work on the lower ground floor - a welcoming and functional space that includes the main reception, offices, a restaurant, cinema room and a vintage train carriage room designed for family members and their relatives to enjoy afternoon tea experiences. About the role: We are looking for a proactive and tenacious person who can deliver outstanding customer service. Hours Average 14.5-hour position. Schedule follows a rolling two-week pattern and specific working times can be discussed during the interview: • Week 1: Saturday, Sunday and Thursday • Week 2: Monday and Tuesday Some of the responsibilities will include: Welcoming visitors Answering a busy reception phone system in a friendly and professional manner Managing inbox Post management Keeping database up to date Liaising with relatives – being their first point of contact Liaising with suppliers Events and training day organising Stock taking Other administration duties as required by the Home Manager Who we are looking for: Warm friendly, professional customer service skills Clear and confident phone manner Good time management skills Excellent attention to detail Good IT skills Please apply by sending your CV, and a member of our Recruitment Team will be in touch.
