* Support the integration and operational readiness of BMS and SBMS components.
* Act as a technical liaison between engineering design and on-site commissioning teams.
* Develop and maintain test procedures, commissioning protocols, and system checklists.
* Troubleshoot system-level issues across test environments, FAT/SAT, and live commissioning stages.
* Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety, and functional specifications.
* Conduct occasional site visits (3–5 days/month) for system validation and hands-on commissioning support.
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Involvement in system design and modelling of BESS/microgrids.
* Use of simulation tools such as ETAP, Typhoon HIL, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or MATLAB Simulink.
* Contribution to functional safety or cybersecurity reviews of power systems.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or similar.
* Experience working on BESS or microgrid systems.
* Familiarity with UK grid standards (e.g. G99, G100).
* Experience with PCS commissioning, especially Sungrow or EPC units.
* Strong understanding of electrical schematics, protection systems, and grid connection principles.
Preferred:
* ECS/JIB Gold Card (advantageous).
* Experience with BMS/SBMS in real-world deployments.
* Competence in digital simulation or power modelling tools.
Why Apply?
* Work with a forward-thinking company at the forefront of energy innovation.
* Be involved in impactful projects focused on decarbonisation and grid flexibility.
* Flexible work environment with field and office collaboration.
* Long-term career prospects in a growing industry sector
