About the role
We are recruiting a Support Worker to enable and empower our fabulous young people, in partnership with their families and colleagues. It will be your job to support our young people to make their own decisions and reach their full potential in an excellent residential setting. You will be required to support our young people in a personalised way and respond to their needs, wishes and aspirations. You will also be part of supporting the delivery of high-quality care, health, and therapy. You will be supporting our young people to develop their independence and daily living skills within their evening routine.
During the evenings, our young people like to participate in meaningful activities such as swimming or social clubs. They like to get out, explore and socialise, you will help support with accessing leisure and social activities within the community.
InFocus will support you every step of the way by providing an excellent, well designed induction programme along with mandatory training which will help you get off to the best possible start, by ensuring that you fully understand your role and the part you play in the wider organisation. About you

You will bring a wealth of skills from previous roles where you have supported others, whether in care, education, or another people-focused field. Your transferable skills, such as communication, problem-solving, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual needs, will be key in providing the tailored support our young people need. Whether you’ve worked in customer service, healthcare, teaching, or any other role where you’ve worked directly with individuals, you’ll know how to build trust, promote independence, and help others reach their goals. Your experience in these areas will enable you to approach challenges with a positive mindset and ensure that each young person receives the support they need to thrive.

Working pattern
We are currently recruiting for the following working patterns:
Full Time – 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, working Monday to Friday 15.30-22.30. The actual salary is £19,364.34 – £19,916.87
Part Time – 26 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, working Monday to Thursday 15.30-22.30. The actual salary is £14,614.38 – £15,030.95
Part Time – 13 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, working Tuesday and Friday 15.30-22.30. The actual salary is £7,745.74 – £7,966.75
