Anns Home Care is recruiting a full-time, as and when Team Leader to join our busy Home Care Team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for providing high-quality service to clients in their own homes by monitoring the quality of care. Flexibility to work unsociable hours if required is necessary.
Anns Home Care is a family-run agency with 25 years of experience in delivering and managing home care services. Our Care Assistants are at the core of our operations, delivering frontline care to those in need. They work in the community, providing support to elderly and vulnerable individuals, helping them live as independently as possible.

Key Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare
* NVQ level 2 qualification or higher
* Access to a car and a full driving license
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Empathy and understanding towards clients and their families
* Leadership, support, and supervision skills for a team
Key Tasks and Duties
* Maintain high standards of care, professionalism, and presentation by example
* Participate in and supervise care delivery to meet clients' physical, social, intellectual, and emotional needs, ensuring dignity, choice, independence, and respect
* Promote best practices and accountability through spot checks and unplanned staff supervisions
* Monitor the quality of care provided to clients
* Prepare, implement, review, and update client care plans
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Uphold professional standards among carers and promote the values of Anns Home Care
* Keep accurate and confidential records per company policy
* Conduct risk assessments in clients' homes as required
* Assist in implementing new care packages, ensuring timely placement of care plans and introduction of scheduled carers
* Support in the induction and training of new care workers
* Provide reports on complaints, accidents, and incidents
* Assist in rota management and support on start times and scheduling
* Participate in the company's Quality Control program
* Undertake shift cover activities as needed
