Coole Bevis is looking for an enthusiastic, organised Marketing Executive to support the delivery of marketing activity across the firm, helping to strengthen our profile within the regional legal and business community.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Business Development, this newly created role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop within a professional services environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, with an exceptional attention to detail and a genuine interest in marketing, communications and brand.

You will enjoy coordinating activity, monitoring progress and keeping projects on track, while also bringing creativity to the role. You will be confident working both independently and collaboratively, and understand the importance of professionalism, accuracy and compliance within a regulated legal environment.

Key Objectives

To provide effective day-to-day support to the Head of Marketing & Business Development, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities.
To monitor, progress and coordinate marketing activity on behalf of the department.
To help deliver consistent, high-quality communications across digital and traditional channels.
To support the firm's brand presence and reputation within the regional market.
To assist with data collection, reporting and analysis to demonstrate marketing impact and inform future activity.
The role is varied, but the core focus will be on social media, content coordination and supporting the firm's events and communications activity.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Digital Marketing
Support the delivery of social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Assist with gathering content from across the firm, including liaising with partners and teams.
Schedule posts, monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages where appropriate.
Collate performance data and assist with regular reporting and analysis.

Events & Networking
Assist with the administration of firm-hosted, networking and third-party events.
Send invitations, monitor attendance, track RSVPs and manage individual requirements.
Send reminders and follow-up communications before and after events.

Online Reputation & Enquiries
Monitor and respond to Google reviews in line with firm guidelines.
Track new business enquiries via the website and other sources.

Website, Directories & Content Management
Update staff profiles and online directories to ensure information is accurate and current.
Support content uploads and basic page updates via the CMS.
Carry out brand compliance checks to ensure all marketing materials adhere to firm guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.

CRM, Data & Reporting
Assist with building and maintaining a marketing-specific CRM system using SOS software.
Support the coordination of future email campaigns and newsletters.
Collate data for reporting, insight and analysis.
Support client feedback, including monitoring responses and basic analysis of results.

Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 & Awards
Assist with regular data capture to streamline Chambers and Legal 500 submissions.
Help coordinate submissions, deadlines and supporting materials.
Support data collation for future award entries.

Market Research & Innovation
Conduct market and competitor research to support innovation.
Assist with insight gathering to inform campaigns and activity.

Internal Engagement & Planning
Attend department meetings and provide marketing and business development updates.
Assist with maintaining the marketing calendar and content calendar.
Support internal marketing communications where required.
Support ad hoc marketing and business development projects as required.

Charity & Community Activity
Support fundraising events and initiatives for the firm's charity and community partners.
Assist with promotion, coordination and follow-up activity.
Help track participation and outcomes.

Person Specification

Essential Skills and Experience
Proven marketing experience, supported by relevant qualifications.
Experience working in professional services or another regulated environment is desirable.
Proficient in social media management, particularly Facebook and Instagram; LinkedIn experience highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with strong spelling, grammar and attention to detail.
Confident using Canva to create on-brand marketing materials.
Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using digital marketing tools and platforms; Google Analytics knowledge desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
A professional, confident and collaborative approach.

Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience of CMS platforms, ideally WordPress.
Experience supporting email marketing campaigns or newsletters.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Experience assisting with events and networking activity.
Exposure to Chambers, Legal 500 and/or award submissions.

Personal Attributes
