Infrastructure & Network Engineer – High Wycombe, GB
Responsibilities
* Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switching, routing, wireless, and WAN technologies.
* Assist with firewall configuration and network security controls.
* Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) and Azure AD.
* Support server environments including Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup solutions.
* Troubleshoot and resolve escalated infrastructure and network issues.
* Contribute to infrastructure and security improvements across multiple sites.
* Support patching, monitoring, incident response, and business continuity activities.
* Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
* Maintain accurate system documentation, network diagrams, and procedures.
* Monitor performance and capacity to help improve reliability and resilience.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in at least five of the following areas:
o Enterprise LAN/WAN networking (routing, switching, VLANs, Wi‑Fi)
o Firewall administration and network security
o Microsoft 365 and Azure AD identity management
o Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V), and storage
o Client operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
o Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and network issues
o Applying security best practice (patching, hardening, identity)
o Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
o Experience delivering infrastructure or security solutions across multiple locations
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* Desirable:
o Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or CompTIA (Network+, Server+, Security+)
o Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
