KS2 Teaching Assistant - Minimum 1 month cover - Start Date: As soon as possible.
We are seeking a committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a variety of our Stafford/Cannock schools on a temporary basis. You will be required to be available 5 days a week to cover a short-term/long-term contract - the length of the contract is yet to be known.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to put your fabulous skills to use as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, working alongside an established Teacher within our Key Stage 2 classes. You will be expected to support pupils day-to-day; this may include assisting with reading/writing /maths, small group interventions and supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons. You must also be comfortable in supporting any children with SEN needs; this can include 1:1 interventions, creating more specific resources to support the child and also working closely alongside the class teacher to tailor a specific plan in order to assist the pupil to reach their full potential.
The Role Includes:

* Long term cover opportunity to cover a minimum of 1 month, with the potential of being extended dependant on the school needs.
* Supporting the class teacher with learning, reading and group activities.
* Providing individual and small group support where required to provide interventions for children.
* To be confident in supporting pupils with SEN needs - this may be on a more 1:1 basis where required.
We are looking for someone who:
* Must have experience supporting a primary class (KS2 experience would be desirable).
* Obtains a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
* Is passionate and committed to providing the best support to pupils within your class in order to support them with their learning.
* The ability to support SEN pupils when needed within the classroom; this may be through 1:1 or small group work.
* Comfortable commuting to South Staffordshire regions; this including Cannock/Stafford and surrounding areas.
* Enhanced DBS.
* Available to start ASAP.
* Fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
