Responsibilities: Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate During inspection, detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision. Work across all production departments as required Operate processing equipment where necessary Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary Carry out any cleaning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role Support the development of “Lean Manufacturing” within the department. Make suggestions for continuous improvement and participate in implementing agreed changes To ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations, and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping Adhere to and conforms with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Company’s ISO 9000 quality systems Support the development of 5S activities to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and housekeeping. Follow with Company Policy on Health and Safety. Report all near miss or hazardous situations to your line manager as they occur, or raise if necessary.
