Job Description


As the Presales Manager UKI, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the presales team’s effectiveness to support the sales organization. Your role includes providing guidance, coaching, and day-to-day management to the presales team, while ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer engagements.

You will lead a team of highly skilled Presales Solution Architects, inspiring and motivating them while continuously elevating their performance to the next level. You will report to the Presales Director UKI & Benelux. Additionally, you will play a key role in engaging with prospects, customers, and partners, ensuring the proper positioning of value-focused IFS solutions to drive significant sales revenue for IFS.

This position requires both customer-facing engagement and the internal leadership of the presales team within the UKI Market Unit (MU). You will work closely with sales executives to help secure business, win deals, and create satisfied customers by demonstrating the value of our solutions.



Key Objectives

* Work closely with the IFS sales team(s) to engage with specific prospects, to provide solution related guidance and help position IFS in a favorable way to the prospect.
* Lead strategic engagements, where you will be a strong voice for our customers, bringing technical, industry and business acumen to the forefront to meet our customer’s needs
* Support a scalable presales effort through a combination of presales efficiencies, and the hiring and onboarding of new Solution Architects.
* Managing work allocation and team assignment backlog to ensure optimal resource utilization.
* Understand and keep up to date with IFS products and solutions.
* Be able to identify, understand, devise and communicate solutions to complex business requirements quickly and efficiently.
* Work closely with the IFS industry and marketing team(s) to understand and improve our industry and product messaging.
* Collaborate with sales leadership to align presales activities with broader business objectives and revenue goals.
* Work closely with the IFS product development team(s) to communicate product requirements, understand future product direction, and address short term product related needs.
* Continuous development of the Solution Architects to improve team efficiency and effectiveness, through training, coaching and best practices sharing.
* Always be considering ways to develop or improve key strategic initiatives to enhance our go to market.
* Preparing written updates as required, including but not limited to status reports, sales win strategies, demonstration assessments, and timely reporting of time and expenses.
* Participate in the employee life cycle of team members, including hiring, employee development, and employee performance reviews, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

* University degree, equivalent professional qualifications or appropriate experience
* Good working knowledge of industry requirements, norms, and general expectations related to ERP / EAM / FSM solutions
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in presales or technical sales roles focused one of IFS’ core industries.
* Experience in managing high performance teams to achieve peak performance
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience of working with Enterprise Resource Planning software or equivalent
* Strong verbal and written communication and planning skills
* Comfortable working across multiple functions and geographical locations in a deadline-driven environment.
* Fluency in English (verbal and written)
* A willingness to travel – nationally and internationally as required
