We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources. We have an opportunity in our Glasgow Recycling & Renewable Energy Centre for an MBT Process Cleaner to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The salary for this role will be £28,035.96 per year, inclusive of shift allowance, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits. Reporting to the MBT Supervisor, the MBT Process Cleaner will play a crucial role in maintaining the desired standard of housekeeping across the site. This position involves carrying out general housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and organisation throughout the facility. As our MBT Process Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for cleaning plant and plant equipment and contributing to the overall efficiency of site operations. All tasks will be performed in strict adherence to Viridor policies and procedures, with active participation in site safety briefs and toolbox talks. Key Responsibilities: Perform general housekeeping duties to achieve and maintain the desired standard of cleanliness across the site. Clean plant and plant equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Adhere to Viridor policies and procedures in all work activities. Participate in site safety briefs and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment. Our ideal MBT Process Cleaner will possess the following qualifications and attributes: A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. A good level of literacy for effective communication and comprehension. Understanding of health and safety principles within a process environment. Ideally, possess an IOSH working safely qualification (desirable but not essential).
