EQUANS are looking for a Technical Services Supervisor to be based at Burnley General Teaching Hospital. This role is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits.
General Overview:
* This position involves planning work and coordinating directly employed labor and subcontractors at Burnley General Teaching Hospital, ensuring maintenance, repairs, and the condition of mechanical and electrical services, systems, plant, and equipment meet project standards.
* Minimize penalty deductions by achieving performance targets outlined in the output specifications.
* Actively participate in Equans Safety First initiatives, including coordinating toolbox talks, safety stand downs, and incident reduction efforts.
Role Specific Accountabilities:
* Lead and manage the Maintenance Team’s performance.
* Provide leadership and motivation to deliver service requirements.
* Manage maintenance of plant, equipment, and building fabric, coordinating with external contractors.
* Implement and oversee the Company SSOW permit to work system.
* Coordinate with the Helpdesk and MAXIMO CAFM system to manage maintenance tasks.
* Ensure safe working practices in line with policies and guidelines.
* Assess and document subcontractor performance.
* Requisition materials and manage stock levels for efficient response.
* Conduct site visits to monitor work progress.
* Instruct and assist in toolbox talks and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
* Work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
* Support training and development of trade staff and provide technical advice.
* Build positive relationships to enhance service perception.
* Assist in producing management reports and analyses.
* Perform any other duties relevant to the role.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in building operations, maintenance, and engineering plant.
* Experience with CAFM systems and supervising labor forces.
* Basic computer skills (Windows Office/ECDL).
* Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ 3, ONC/HNC).
* Legionella control (L8), Health & Safety qualifications (Nebosh, IOSH).
* Ability to manage and support technical maintenance across various building systems.
* Valid UK driving license and ability to obtain a DBS check.
* Experience in healthcare environment is preferred but not essential.
