Instrument Engineer
To work within our client’s team on an ARAMCO FEED project with an anticipated duration of 12 months.
This role is based 5 days a week in our Leatherhead office and is inside IR35.
Target rate £50ph PAYE excluding holidays / Umbrella £66.00ph
Candidates must have previous Aramco experience.
Typically, the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company.
Candidate requirements are:
* Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
* Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience
* Contributes to the development of preliminary and final stage Instrumentation & Control (I&C) design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets.
* Experienced in working in early phases of the project, especially Concept and FEED deliverables.
* Assists in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
* Experience in instrumentation requirements for custody metering requirements standards.
* Prepares budgetary requisitions and conducts bid evaluations.
* Assists in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and demonstrates working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC61511.
* Performs assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements.
* Interface knowledge of Electrical system and Instrument interfaces
* Has experience in greenfield onshore projects.
