Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding school in Redbridge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a KS2 Primary Teacher. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, starting ASAP. The salary ranges from M1 to M6 per day, based on experience. Additionally, there is a possibility of a trial day before the summer break.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports their academic and personal development.
3. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set targets to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings to share best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
5. Establish effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
7. Implement appropriate behavior management strategies to create a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a KS2 setting.
9. A passion for primary education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
10. Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
12. Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning.
13. Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
14. Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to work as part of a dedicated team.
