Job Description
Operations is the core of Amazon's business. As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you will oversee various parts of our operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes, from processing to dispatching items to customers.
You will be the first point of contact for team members during shifts, helping them adhere to established processes. This hands-on role offers experience with the tools and systems vital to our success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and communicate shift information to management to ensure operational excellence.
2. Support and train employees to deliver excellent service and supervise their daily tasks.
3. Assist the Shift/Area Manager with process improvement projects, safety initiatives, and workforce engagement.
4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support key performance areas.
5. Use data analysis to optimize safety, quality, and productivity.
A Day in the Life
Based at an operational site, you will support your Shift/Area Manager in executing the shift plan, including pre-shift meetings and monitoring procedures to ensure safety, quality, and priority tasks are followed.
You may escalate issues to your manager or provide direction as the most senior person on shift. You will also assist in planning shifts to meet peak times.

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and appliances, offering delivery, unpacking, assembly, installation, and removal services, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Our expansion plans include new fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. The team comprises professionals from operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and project management, all contributing to growth.
Basic Qualifications
* Proficiency in the local language, both written and verbal.
* Experience with data analytics and problem-solving using metrics.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
* Background in logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
