Main duties of the job As a Kitchen Assistant - Bank at Lavender Lodge Care Home in Farnborough, you will support the catering function in food preparation and maintaining a clean environment for the safe production of beverages and meals, ensuring a high-quality and comprehensive service is delivered to residents. Contributingfully to team working, responding positively tocolleagues,and actioning all reasonable work instructions promptly. Advisingon the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring thetimelyandappropriate orderingof replacement goods. Actingaccordingly towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. Our ideal candidate must: Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate anddemonstrateshigh standardsof personal hygiene. Be an efficient worker, capable ofa high levelof sustained physical effort and able torespond to a demandingworkload.
