An Academic Mentor is needed in an All Boys Grammar Secondary School and Mixed 6th Form in South East London. This Academic Mentor position will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.
If appointed as an Academic Mentor, you will mainly provide class based support for students with a range of needs, mostly ASD and ADHD. There may be some 1:1 support required for KS3 student with this Academic Mentor post.
Academic Mentor applicants with specialisms, such as speech and language or anxiety etc., could be assigned 1:1 work with identified students too. Occasionally assisting with class cover when the teacher is absent will be a requirement for this Academic Mentor role as well.
The rates of pay for this Academic Mentor position will be between GBP82.14 to GBP130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
You're welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Academic Mentor. Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Academic Mentor or overseas trained Academic Mentor.

* Experience of working with children/young people or as an Academic Mentor in UK schools
