Key Responsibilities
* Finance
o Prepare budgets, management accounts, and cash flow forecasts
o Monitor school fees, invoicing, and collections
o Oversee payroll and payments
o Support the annual audit and ensure VAT compliance
* Operations
o Help maintain school buildings and facilities
o Manage insurance and operational processes
o Support improvements to financial systems and processes
* Governance
o Attend meetings with the Senior Management Team and governing bodies
* Health & Safety
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
o Maintain risk assessments and fire safety records
* HR Administration
o Prepare staff contracts
o Support pay reviews and reporting (including gender pay gap reporting)
Person Specification
* Essential
o (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience (PQ/Qualified)
o Experience preparing budgets, management accounts, and forecasts
o Strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
o Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
o Experience managing or supervising staff
* Desirable
o Experience working in a school or similar organisation
Salary
Approximately £55,000-75,000, depending on experience.
