Job Title: Transformation Projects OfficerRef: Nuneaton 5273937Pay rate: £17.85 per hour PAYEThe role:We’re looking for a proactive Transformation Projects Officer to join our Central Operations team. In this role, you’ll lead and support the delivery of transformation projects that drive meaningful change across the authority.Key Responsibilities:
* To design, develop, monitor and manage transformation projects across the authority
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
* To manage the day-to-day work of the projects, manage expectations with other stakeholders and have a clear idea of their role and what they can deliver
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
* Maintain accurate administrative and financial records, supporting the Programme Management Office
* Communicate effectively across all levels, ensuring alignment with Council strategies
* Handle financial transactions (up to £10,000), manage shared communications channels, and provide excellent customer care
* Record, manage and report on the progress of projects and track benefits
What the client is looking for:
* Educated to degree level
* Project Management qualification (Prince 2, AGILE, MSP) or equivalent or willingness to work towards
* Experience of project support, delivery, policy and research
* Previous experience of successful project delivery within timescales and allocated budgets
* Experience of using monitoring systems used to evaluate the success of service provision
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary and multiagency context to support project delivery
* Excellent ICT abilities including MS Office Packages, Project Management Systems and Databases
* Able to work creatively and flexibly, taking a proactive approach to risk and issue management
* Able to understand, interpret and model highly complex data and to make appropriate assessments and recommendations
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks with attention to detail, without close supervision
* Self-motivated and proactive to implement and share, new ways of working and improvements, within the team and wider projects
