Job Description:
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role involves:
* Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing and reporting on human resources and employee relations issues in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
* Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, ensuring investigations are conducted properly.
* Managing human resource records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, and leave, and developing reports for senior management.
* Monitoring, measuring, and auditing departmental HR performance data, including overtime, agency work, and attendance management.
* Participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases as required.
* Assisting in managing sickness absence, monitoring absence figures, and implementing absence policies.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A 3rd-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
* Experience working within a unionised environment.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR subjects.
