Behaviour Support Worker (BSW) Location: Liverpool Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £100- £120 per day Start Date: As soon as possible About Us A welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the heart of Liverpool are seeking a behaviour support worker to support a pupil 1.1. The school is dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and moderate learning difficulties. The Role We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Behaviour Support Worker (BSW) to support a pupil displaying challenging behaviours and SEMH Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH and behavioural challenges. Implement individual behaviour support plans and strategies. Support teaching staff in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment. Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress. About You Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school or care setting). Knowledge of SEN and behaviour management strategies. Excellent communication, patience, and empathy. A team player with a flexible, solution-focused attitude. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Health & Social Care, Psychology, or similar) are desirable but not essential.
