The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, as well as the ability to work in a production and warehouse environment.
This is a fantastic position, which is offering an immediate start on an ongoing basis and can lead to a permanent position after a successful trial period!
This is a day shift role, working 05.30am - 14.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Mix and match paints to achieve desired colours and finishes.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while ensuring even coverage.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, including power tools and hand tools.
Assemble components as needed for painting projects.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Skills
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to painting tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting while managing multiple tasks.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
