Some teaching roles are about hitting targets. This one’s about changing lives. We’re working with supportive schools looking for a SEND Teacher to work with pupils who need a more personalised, understanding approach to learning. You’ll be teaching children with additional needs, including autism, and helping them build confidence, independence, and trust in education. We’re looking for someone who: Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Has experience with SEND, especially autism (or a strong interest in developing this) Is patient, adaptable, and genuinely caring Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff Brings creativity and flexibility into the classroom What your day might look like: Delivering tailored lessons that meet individual needs Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and engagement Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and families Celebrating progress, no matter how small What makes this role special: This isn’t about rushing through the curriculum.
