Electrical Projects Manager
This role will be based in our growing Projects team and will include management of engineers and sub contractors on site during electrical and mechanical installations including, Air Source Heat pumps, Boilers, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, small power and switch gear installations (depending on relevant experience and knowledge).
Based out of our Head Office your work will be predominantly office based but you will be required to travel to sites for practical completion and handover along with site inspections and audits/ progress meetings. Responsible for PL on allocated jobs ensuring that maximum margins are hit.

Location- North East (Installation sites are nationwide) must be willing to travel when required.

Key Responsibilities
* To manage and control site-based teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance and Purchasing
* To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice
* To manage financial targets to meet established objectives, which will include the reporting of financial status to the Commercial Team.
* To provide tendering facilities for extra project works to suit client requirements.
* To lead, motivate and develop site-based team/s
* To develop customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
* To gain new opportunities through existing and customer base i.e. additional core contracts, extra works, total facilities opportunities
Key Requirements
* Experienced in mechanical /electrical installation management, reading drawings, delivery of materials, PO management.
* Electrical or mechanical qualifications
* Detailed technical and financial knowledge of construction contracts.
* Applicants should possess supervisory experience combined with good technical knowledge.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills – ability to build and maintain effective working relationship/s
* Computer literate with both MS Word and Excel.
* Hold current qualifications relevant to the role, and be willing to undertake further training.
* Existing customer contacts, along with both supervisor and operative networks is an added bonus.

Salary– £50k-£60k (depending on experience) + Car allowance or company Car
Hours– Full time – 40 hours
