Mission description
The VIE will support the R&T team at Burnley to plan and execute projects in the business roadmap, including composite manufacturing, sheet metal, and assembly technologies. The role aims to facilitate project execution while ensuring regular communication with French stakeholders and internal customers. The successful candidate will be required to: - Develop an understanding of the context of the projects and current challenges. - Participate in defining a roadmap / plan to address outstanding issues. - Be able to present the development plan to the rest of the team and to experts for validation. - Facilitate the execution of the plan in a timely manner. - Help to track progress and ensure actions are completed. - Communicate to stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated. - Ensure regular communication with the French company. - Capture decisions and actions in minutes of meetings. - Clarify decisions and actions with the UK team. - Report writing: review and collate results, providing a summary of conclusions and key recommendations. - Suggest next steps based on previous results. - Close any actions once quality requirements have been met. This role provides the opportunity to gain international experience while improving communication and collaboration between the French and UK teams. Educational and cultural alignment with French decision-makers enhances efficiency and facilitates understanding. Supports the company's international strategy by ensuring consistent cross-site collaboration.
Engineering studies in progress or completed (preferably related to Automation), with a basic understanding of Aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes.
