Wigan, UK | Full-Time, Office-Based (Flexible Hours: 9am–5pm or 8am–4pm)
Salary: £40,000 DOE

My client is a growing, independent building services design consultancy, delivering innovative Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) solutions across the UK. They are currently seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to join the team and contribute to high-quality, multi-disciplinary projects across various sectors.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with our experienced MEP team, assisting in the technical delivery of design services, producing specifications, drawings, and schedules, and supporting client meetings and site surveys. You’ll be responsible for managing smaller projects initially, with opportunities to take on larger responsibilities as you grow.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to the MEP team for multi-disciplinary projects
* Produce design deliverables: specifications, drawings, and schedules
* Attend client meetings, site surveys, and project progress meetings
* Manage smaller projects and contribute to larger schemes under guidance
* Collaborate with team members to ensure design excellence and client satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in UK Building Services (Mechanical / Electrical)
* HNC, HND, or working towards a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services
* Knowledge of BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and Amtech (preferred)
* Design experience in the building services sector; practical site experience is an advantage
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
* Ability to work from our Wigan office Monday–Friday
