Overview
Recruit are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and a keen eye for detail. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish. This role requires proficiency with various tools and materials, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Mon-Friday 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as needed.
* Mix plaster according to specifications to achieve the desired consistency.
* Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to create smooth finishes on walls and ceilings.
* Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and resurfacing damaged areas.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials.
* Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plastering work.
* Knowledge of masonry techniques, including bricklaying, is advantageous.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
* A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
* Valid CSCS Card.
