Role Summary:
This is a true new-business role suited to someone hungry, resilient, and naturally relationship-driven. You’ll generate opportunities, validate and qualify prospects, and convert meaningful commercial business (£5k+). Once clients are onboarded, you’ll pass accounts into a dedicated servicing team - retaining a small book where appropriate. This is an active, field-based development role, ideal for someone who thrives outside the office and enjoys direct engagement with local businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business through proactive outreach - including cold/warm prospecting and on-the-ground visits to retail, business parks, and commercial hubs.
* Drive qualification and validation of prospects to build a high-quality commercial pipeline.
* Win and transfer new accounts into the servicing team while retaining a small book where suitable for continuity.
* Spot cross-selling and referral opportunities across wider services, benefiting from a strong internal rewards scheme.
* Contribute to a growth-focused, high-performance culture alongside Commercial Directors and AEs.
