Business Development Manager – Events


Shepperton - Up to £40,000 basic + attractive bonus scheme

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and results-focused Business Development Manager to lead growth for a prestigious hotel in Shepperton.

As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue through proactive and reactive sales strategies. You will focus on building strong corporate partnerships and expanding the venue's presence in the hospitality and events market.

This is a hands-on role where you'll manage your own pipeline, attend industry events, and develop local business relationships. It's ideal for someone commercially minded who enjoys autonomy, excels at face-to-face relationship building, and wants to make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively source and secure new business while growing existing corporate accounts
* Host client entertainment events, including tastings, venue tours, and networking activities
* Generate new business across weddings, dry hire bookings, celebrations, and corporate events
* Build strong client relationships through phone calls, meetings, and events
* Negotiate terms, close sales, and manage client accounts to ensure repeat business

What we're looking for:

* Proven sales experience, ideally within hospitality, events, or venue sales
* Strong business development skills with a proactive, target-driven approach
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car
* Self-motivated, ambitious, and confident in building long-term client partnerships
