Shift Pattern:
You will work a rotating schedule of 4 days on (2 days / 2 nights) followed by 4 days off, with each shift lasting 12 hours. After completing 7 full rotations, you will receive an extended 18-day break for rest and recovery.

You will be part of the frontline operations team on the Isle of Wight. Daily tasks vary and include working in all weather conditions to ensure the proper functioning of wastewater treatment works and pumping stations, maintaining supply and protecting the environment.
Although work is assigned weekly, you will manage your own time, gaining flexibility and learning to be organized and proactive.
Core responsibilities include:
* Maintenance tasks - unblocking pumps, screens, and valves to ensure continuous plant operation.
* Repair of alarm systems.
* Monitoring, collating, and reporting data to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
* Responding to breakdowns through fault finding and problem-solving.
* Maintaining site hygiene in line with regulatory obligations.
* Using IT systems to log maintenance and field activities accurately, ensuring safety and compliance.
