Job Description
My client are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Full-time, hybrid.
This is a varied and hands-on role involving the creation and distribution of engaging marketing materials, management of website SEO and online sales platforms, analysis of performance data, and maintenance of customer databases.
Main Responsibilities
1. Create and distribute targeted and engaging email campaigns and product flyers, including writing copy, creating imagery, designing layouts, and ensuring messaging aligns with brand tone and style.
2. Collaborate with Commercial Managers to plan and deliver sales and marketing campaigns.
3. Follow up with individuals who engage with marketing campaigns to identify potential sales leads for the Commercial Managers.
4. Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness and return on investment of digital marketing activities.
5. Manage CRM systems, including maintaining contact databases and resolving hard bounce issues.
6. Create and publish targeted social media content while engaging appropriately with audience interactions.
7. Produce and publish relevant and engaging blog content.
8. Coordinate the collection and development of marketing assets.
9. Proactively manage and improve SEO performance across all company websites.
10. Manage product listings across online marketplaces including eBay, Amazon, Google Shopping, and other sales channels, monitoring performance and optimising listings where required.
11. Analyse and report on website traffic, Google Analytics data, and marketplace performance statistics.
12. Set up new customer prospects within the internal CRM system.
13. Follow up on pro-forma invoices and overdue orders.
14. Resolve customer delivery queries efficiently.
15. Respond to and manage customer complaints in a professional manner.

About the Candidate
16. Experience using email marketing platforms is desirable; however, the ability and willingness to learn new systems quickly is essential.
17. Previous experience creating digital marketing content and/or website content is advantageous.
18. Experience managing online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms would be beneficial.
19. Excellent attention to detail.
20. Strong written communication skills.
21. Strong analytical skills, including experience using tools such as Google Analytics.
22. A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
