We are opening recruitment for a Resuscitation Practitioner to join #teamDPG. This is a unique developmental opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of professionals responsible for the deteriorating patient training across the acute and community services.
NOTE:Please be advised that the start date for the successful candidate will be into the new financial year (May 2026 onwards). The exact timing will be confirmed at offer stage.
Main duties of the job
This job is being advertised as a Band 6 position, but will be amended to a trainee post if there are no successful applicants with the essential skillset for the Band 6 posting, please note the trainee will be employed on a Band 5 posting until the essential requirements are met. Applications are welcomed from all registered (NMC or HCPC) staff.
To apply for this job you must:
* Hold a current NMC or HCPC registration
* Have worked in an acute care environment (ED, Acute Admissions, Theatres, ICU, Cardiology or Respiratory)
* Hold relevant experience and knowledge regarding resuscitation practices
* Have a valid driving licence and be able to travel between sites as service demands

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse /ODP
* Advanced Life Support Provider
* ENB 998 / C&G 7307/FLIPS or equivalent
* Evidence of post registration study at degree level (or working towards degree)
* European Paediatric Life support provider (or equivalent)
* MIMMS provider
* ATNC/ETC/ATLS observer
* Advanced Life Support Provider
Specific Requirements
* Ability to travel between sites
Previous Experience
* Recent or current practical experience in clinical field related to critical care (e.g. A&E, ITU, CCU, MEAU, SEAU)
* Extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of basic and advanced adult resuscitation techniques.
* Record of continuing professional development;
* Demonstrates high standard of clinical practice.
* The applicant must have experience at supervising others in complex clinical situations.
* Experience in neonatal ,paediatric and trauma care
* Experience of clinical audit
* Experience of delivering clinical skills training;
* Practical and theoretical knowledge of basic and advanced trauma, paediatric and newborn resuscitation techniques
* Knowledge of Major incident procedures
* Commitment to implementing evidence based care
* Knowledge of current research within speciality
* Demonstrates good communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work as part of a team but on own initiative when required
* Able to be assertive and remain calm under pressure
* Able to make decisions in potentially distressing circumstances
