Commercial and Operations Project Manager
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus | Leeds City Centre

The Role & Responsibilities:
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact across the operations of an established, international business. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this is a role created to drive meaningful commercial transformation and operational improvement across the organisation. You will focus on delivering end-to-end strategic, cross-functional projects that ultimately improve business efficiency.
You will play a pivotal role in introducing new systems into the business and embedding scalable, auditable processes fit for growth. You’ll take ownership of critical initiatives and deliver structured, data-led change. This position is intentionally designed as a pathway to senior leadership.
Strategic Projects & Transformation
* Deliver end-to-end business improvement projects, taking accountability for delivery, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
* Lead the implementation of AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve operational efficiency
* Provide clear reporting, insight and risk updates directly to the Board.
Systems, Data and Planning
* Strategically develop planning models using financial and operational data.
* Support senior leadership with systems implementation and data-led initiatives.
* Improve management information quality and accessibility across the business
Purchasing & Procurement Transformation
* Conduct a full review of the purchasing function, understanding current workflows end-to-end.
* Design and implement structured, scalable processes.
* Use data and AI tools to improve supplier management, cost control, forecasting and stock planning.
* Improve delivery communication and operational visibility.
* Maintain oversight of purchasing performance and controls.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Prior experience owning and delivering business improvement projects
* A strong academic background; an accounting qualification (AAT or similar) would be beneficial
* Confidence working with data, systems, and planning tools
* Practical understanding of how AI can be applied to automate and enhance operational processes
* Confident communicating and reporting to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders
* You’ll be hands on, proactive and commercially minded.
